We've expanded our Perl news coverage and improved our search! Search for all things Perl across O'Reilly! Perl Resources | Topic: Time Time::Period module to deal with time periods. Currently, it only contains one item: a function called inPeriod(). This function takes a time (in seconds) and a period (as a string) and determines whether the time point falls within the time period, returning 1 if it does, 0 if not, and -1 if either the time or period were malformed.
