Perl Resources | Topic: Conversion apt4rpm The superb Debian package installer APT has since some time become available for RPM-based distributions. However, to install RPM packages with apt, an apt repository is needed. apt4rpm creates the apt repository from an RPM repository. The rpm repository can be located locally or remotely. Once the apt repository has been created with apt4rpm, the apt tools can be used to install RPMs. Source: Richard Bos
