We've expanded our Perl news coverage and improved our search! Search for all things Perl across O'Reilly! Jesse Erlbaum
Jesse Erlbaum is the Chief Technology Officer for the Vanguard Media Corporation (http://www.vm.com/), located in New York City, where he has worked since 1994. Vanguard Media develops custom software for a variety of clients, from the WPP Group to Time, Inc. Jesse has been a Perl evangelist for many years, and a fervent supporter of all things open-source. Perl's no-nonsense practicality is what he enjoys most about both the language, and the Perl community. Using CGI::Application The Common Gateway Interface may well be the backbone of many web applications, but sometimes it can feel dry and monotonous to work with. If you're fed up with "my $query = CGI->new()", Jesse Erlbaum presents a kinder, gentler alternative. [Jun 5, 2001]
