Alptekin Cakircali holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California. After his professional career in the United States as Internet Systems Programmer, he moved to Turkey in 1999 to teach computer programming in Akdeniz University. He has been working as System Administrator in the Middle East Technical University and studying towards his MS degree in Information Technologies since 2002. He is passionate about using Perl wherever he can.
