We've expanded our Perl news coverage and improved our search! Search for all things Perl across O'Reilly! Roberto Alamos
Roberto Alamos is a Chilean Perl programmer who holds a Bachelor degree on Mathematics and works as CTO in Confianze, a security firm which he's founding. In part of his work time and spare time, Roberto enjoys the pleasure to write Perl code developing a wide range of applications and lately contributing modules to CPAN. Besides this Perl preference, Roberto also writes code in PHP and Javascript as a hobby and in open source projects. When Roberto is far from computers, he spends most of the time with his dear girlfriend (who shortly will become his wife), his family, and with his 4 cats. Making Menus with wxPerl Perl's a great general-purpose programming language. wxWidgets is a powerful GUI toolkit that manages attractive, native widgets on multiple platforms. wxPerl is the combination, and it's easy to use, once you understand a few idioms. Roberto Alamos shows off everything you need to know to manage menus with wxPerl. [Oct 6, 2005] |
