Lingua Convert::Cyrillic This package implements routine for converting from one cyrillic charset to another. It is intended to be used from cgi's which need built-in support for translations. Lingua::EN::Infinitive Determine the infinitive form of a conjugated word. Also, determine the suffix used to identify which rule to apply to transform the conjugated word into the infinitive form. Lingua::EN::Inflect The exportable subroutines of Lingua::EN::Inflect provide plural inflections and %22a%22/%22an%22 selection for English words. Plural forms of all nouns, most verbs, and some adjectives are provided. Where appropriate, %22classical%22 variants (for example: %22brother%22 -> %22brethren%22, %22dogma%22 -> %22dogmata%22, etc.) are also provided. You can use this module eg to preprocess text before it is sent to electronic media that has maximum text size limit. For example Pagers have some arbitrary text size limit, say 200 characters, which you want to fill as much as possible. Alternatively you may have GSM Cellular phone wich is capable of receiving Short Messages (SMS), whose text limit is 160 characters.
